Ibiza, the island of emotions

A trip (but it’s also a weekend) to discover the essence of the island where everything can happen

Ibiza – the second largest island in the Balearic Islands, after Majorca – has now established itself as the most popular tourist destination during the summer months. Stoves of tourists from all over the world crowd the island in search not only for fun, but also for relaxation and psychophysical wellbeing.

Precisely for this reason, Ibiza (perhaps) has no secrets. We already know it for its trendy clubs and clubs, for its wild coves and its sea that ranges from turquoise to iridescent green (thanks to Posidonia Oceanica, an endemic plant of the Mediterranean Sea that makes the waters transparent and crystalline).

But not everyone knows that in Ibiza the five-star luxury gets married (happily) with the hippy spirit that sets it apart. When you set foot in Ibiza you fall into a sort of ancestral and magical atmosphere. A rare and impalpable alchemy.

Ibiza offers (yet) unexpected sunsets, pure energy, hidden places such as the Casita Verde, in the heart of Sant Josep, the flagship project of an association that acts as a center of environmental education and is aimed at proposing a model of eco-sustainable life through alternative energies. It is the island where everything can happen. Where joy alternates with fear, where one gets lost in the alleys of the old town of Dalt Vila and admires the puesta del sol in Benirrás.

You can wake up in the morning in a five-star villa with the scent of lavender (look at the photos in the gallery and all addresses), take a bath in a magazine pool and then find yourself barefoot at the Hippy Market in Es Canar – it takes place every Wednesday – to look for some trinkets to take home as a souvenir. (In the gallery above all our advice).

Ibiza really makes everyone agree. Families with children who want to relax and enjoy nature, perhaps through an excursion on horseback to the north of the island, or for the adventurers a fun and exciting ride in a hot-air balloon (and the pleasant sensation of floating in the sky), to admire the island from another point of view.

Not to be missed (restaurants and clubs)
The Thursday evening aperitif of the IT Restaurant in the heart of Marina Botafoch, where fashion, style and beauty are mixed. From 19.00 aperitif to the bar with raw and lounge music. Every Monday, do not miss the usual appointment at Flower Power (from May 29th to October 2nd) at the Pacha disco in Ibiza and for the fans of electronic music the Circoloque at DC10. If instead you are more underground try to jump to the Zooproject (the location is a scream) where every Tuesday plays a DJ of our house, the Florentine Federico Grazzini. Do not miss the evening Ants (every Saturday from 4 pm to midnight) at the Ushuaïa.
